/ Technology Guide

Every blockchain platform.
Honest assessments.

We work across the full stack — public chains, enterprise DLT, and custom L1 development. This is our honest view of each platform, when to use it, and when not to.

Select Technology

Ethereum

PUBLIC / L1

What It Is

The dominant public smart contract platform. Proof-of-stake since 2022, the largest developer ecosystem in blockchain, and the reference implementation for most token standards.

Best For

DeFi protocols, NFT infrastructure, tokenized assets, DAO governance, and any application requiring composability with the existing DeFi ecosystem.

Not Suitable For

Applications requiring transaction privacy, high-frequency low-value transactions, or organizations that cannot accept data being visible on a public ledger.

When Tantrija Recommends It

We recommend Ethereum when you need access to the DeFi ecosystem, ERC-20/ERC-721 composability, or a credibly neutral settlement layer. For most enterprise use cases, it is not the right choice.
