/ How We Work

Seven steps from
first call to production.

We believe the process is as important as the code. Every engagement runs through the same seven steps — designed to eliminate surprises and keep you in control at every stage.

01

Free Strategy Call

30 minutes

We start with a 30-minute call to understand your project. What problem are you solving? Who are the participants? What are the regulatory constraints? Do you actually need blockchain, or would a different architecture serve you better?

  • We ask hard questions up front — budget, timeline, existing infrastructure, team capacity.
  • We give you an honest initial assessment of whether blockchain fits your use case.
  • We explain which technology direction we would likely recommend and why.
  • If we are not the right fit, we will tell you that too.
OutcomeYou leave with a clear picture of whether we should work together.
02

Architecture Proposal

3–5 business days

After the strategy call, we prepare a detailed architecture proposal. This is not a sales document — it is a technical document. It includes our recommended technology stack, system architecture diagram, key trade-offs, risks we have identified, and our reasoning.

  • Technology recommendation with justification (why Corda vs Fabric vs Ethereum).
  • High-level system architecture and data flow.
  • Integration points with existing systems.
  • Risks and constraints we see from the information available.
  • Initial scope estimate and rough timeline.
OutcomeA document you could take to your technical team or board for review.
03

Scope and Contract

2–3 business days

Once the architecture is agreed, we define the project scope in detail. Milestones, deliverables, acceptance criteria, payment schedule, and IP ownership — all of it explicit before we start.

  • Detailed scope document with specific deliverables per milestone.
  • Fixed-price or retainer pricing agreed upfront — no surprises.
  • NDA signed if required.
  • Full code and IP ownership transferred to you on final delivery.
  • Change request process defined clearly.
OutcomeA signed contract with zero ambiguity about what you are paying for.
04

Build Phase

Varies by scope

Development begins. You are never left in the dark — weekly update calls, access to the project board, and direct access to the engineers building your system.

  • Weekly progress calls with a written summary after each.
  • Shared project board (Linear or Notion) with real-time status.
  • Each milestone delivered and reviewed before the next begins.
  • Direct Slack or WhatsApp channel with the lead engineer.
  • Any major technical decisions escalated to you before implementation.
OutcomeWorking software delivered in stages, not a single waterfall delivery.
05

Testing and Security Review

1–3 weeks

No deployment without comprehensive testing. Smart contracts go through formal review. Infrastructure is tested under load. Security assumptions are challenged.

  • Unit tests and integration test coverage across all smart contracts.
  • Smart contract security review — we look for reentrancy, integer overflow, access control flaws.
  • Network performance testing under expected transaction load.
  • Third-party security audit arranged if required by client or regulatory context.
  • Penetration testing of API and admin interfaces.
OutcomeA production-readiness report with all identified issues resolved.
06

Production Deployment and Handover

1 week

Deployment to production infrastructure with everything your team needs to operate the system independently — documentation, runbooks, monitoring setup, and training sessions.

  • Infrastructure deployment to your cloud environment or managed hosting.
  • Full technical documentation — architecture, API reference, operational runbooks.
  • Monitoring and alerting setup.
  • Knowledge transfer sessions with your technical team.
  • 30-day post-launch support period included in all fixed-price engagements.
OutcomeA running system your team understands and can operate.
07

Ongoing Support and Partnership

Ongoing — optional

Most of our clients continue working with us after launch. Either through a retainer for ongoing development, or a support agreement for infrastructure maintenance and incident response.

  • Monthly retainer for continuous feature development and engineering capacity.
  • Infrastructure monitoring and incident response SLA.
  • Architecture advisory for product decisions that affect the blockchain layer.
  • Team augmentation as your internal capability grows.
  • Priority access to our engineers as your project evolves.
OutcomeA long-term engineering partnership, not just a one-time project.
